Laminated glass consisting of thermally toughened glass, also known as toughened laminated glass, is a type of safety glass consisting of multiple layers of toughened glass bonded together with a layer of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) or other intermediate material. Thermally toughened glass is created by heating it to a high temperature and then rapidly cooling it, which increases its strength and makes it more resistant to breakage.\n<\/span><\/h5>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

    When they break, they have no residual strength and if they are supported pointwise or only on one side, such as a parapet with lateral support below, then the \"wet blanket effect\" occurs and there is a risk of injury. It is advisable, if from the point of view of load resistance is sufficient, in multi-layered glazing in such applications, to combine the thermally toughened glass with a thermally reinforced glass pane, which in the event of breakage, breaks into larger pieces and will therefore remain in place after breakage and until removal.<\/span><\/p> <\/div>\n\t\t \n

    Multi-layer glazing is commonly used in applications where security is a top priority, such as car windscreens, skylights and high-rise buildings.
